Skirt Styles You Should Know About



You can look good in skirts too, not just in pants. Going for a more feminine look? these are some of the different types of skirts you can find in stores, alternatively, you can make one for yourself. 

The Pencil Skirt: I know the pencil skirt is a perfect match for almost any kind of blouse but we've been spinning in the wheels of sameness with the pencil skirt, its about time we roll on to something different.

there are other designs, some of which are;

i. The Broomstick Skirt: This features multiple tiers of gathered fabric and a uniquely wrinkled appearance. 


ii. Tiered Skirt: This is achieved by a strategic layering of fabrics.

                    

iii. The Tutu Skirt: Yikes! who said tutus are meant only for Ballerinas. Only a Tule can give you the desired tutu you need. I just love the sound of 'tutu', don't you?

 

iv. Draped Skirt: Loosely gather a fabric and fasten it to secure the pattern created would land you a drape.


v. Divided skirt/ Culottes: This is like wearing a skirt on each leg. Simply put, a Split Skirt.  


vi. A-Line Skirt: This has a vintage feel when worn, but with the right blend, you could make it contemporary.

vii. Godet skirt: Extra pieces of fabric are cut in triangular shapes and set into a skirt. Going for a Godet skirt could either Make or Mar your look as you would need to go for the right fit.
