SKIN

You will agree with me that the sun in Lagos these past few weeks hasn't been fun for anyone and the UV rays from the sun sure do cause some harm to our skin, whatever race you might be.

These few fashion tips will help you maintain that beautiful skin to prevent wrinkles and sun burns.

1. Avoid Black Colored Clothing: I love black outfits a whole lot and if accessorized the right way would make you stand out instead of wearing a plane coloured outfit. But there's a downside to this which is to avoid wearing black clothing while exposed directly to the sun. this causes you to sweat a lot and if you're albino, could cause some skin damage that you do not need.

Instead, go for light coloured clothes and possibly light in weight also.

2. Avoid Layering

3. Wear Glasses

Most times, head coverings are associated with religious practices, but it has extended into the fashion scene and it is worth every attention it draws.      Before i go further, did you know that a decree known as the Tignon Law was passed to prevent women of African descent , Slave or Free, from unveiling their hair? They were to cover their hair and heads with a knotted headdress.      Headdresses are not just a medium to conceal women's beauty but have been incorporated as a fashion accessory and are becoming mainstream not only for a particular religious sect.
